Without ever hearing of the group Tanga, listening to this CD you will realize that they must have been around for sometime in some form or another. Meaning, for me that they have a Mature Sound. Authentic, Jazzy Brass and other qualities in the music which gives them a solid foundation. This is a very enjoyable CD.
This is the type of CD that you will enjoy privately at home, in your car, ipod, etc.
If you are a Salsa and Jazz elements lover you will enjoy this CD. Percussive interlacing, not overplayed, smooth and tasteful. You will be glad to play this at a gathering. Very smooth sound with good vocals. I honestly have to say I enjoyed every cut. Again this sounds like a group of veterans playing some entertaining music. I can happily recommend this CD.
